See what's new at K & K Gardens

Improvements and additions have been made for
the 2010 season. 

We've added a new shade structure for the shrub area.  This will provide customers and shrubs a reprieve from the sun.  A beautiful paved walk was installed between the retail garage and plant area, (no mare walking through straw), more visible  signage was added, and the inventory of perennials, hosta, trees and shrubs has been increased. 

We have also expanded our selection of garden gifts. 

New and easy to install water fountains have been added, more glazed pottery and animal planters will be displayed, new several new lines of garden gift items will be featured. 

A unique line of bamboo wind chimes and garden bells will be available this spring.  They are gorgeous.  Handcrafted in Bali, these are one of a kind. 

More junk metal art will be displayed throughout our gardens. 

We have every animal imaginable this year.  If we don't have it, we can probably get it!

In 2010, our ultimate goal is to provide you with quality plants, products, service, and knowledge. This all equals the main asset people appreciate when shopping, value. We feel you will experience and receive the greatest value when shopping with us.

New and exciting plants and accessories have been added for the 2010 season. New selections include new hosta and perennial introductions, a wider selection of trees and shrubs, new releases and introductions from Proven Winners, and most noticeable, a better layout of our plant selections.

Other changes for 2010 include a play area for children, better signage, and the increase of knowledgeable staff during weekends and promotional days. We have also added a paver walk from the retail garage to the retail yard, making hauling those wagons of plants much easier.

Another addition for 2010 is a shade structure for shade loving shrubs. We needed to remove some trees from our display gardens, resulting in the loss of our shade. If you have any suggestions for improvements at K & K Gardens, please feel free to contact us.

All of these improvements are the direct result of our customers input. Keep the suggestions coming.

We will again increase or selections of garden gifts, outdoor metal furniture, and other garden accents. The most popular request last year was glazed pottery items (pots, birdbaths, decorative items). Our shipment of these items has arrived, and they look incredible.

In recent years, K & K Gardens has expanded in many different avenues.

The retail area was doubled, allowing more room for customers to view products, and giving us the ability to offer more products too. We also increased the number and variety of plants offered, with the ability to showcase them in their natural setting.

K & K Gardens now offers over 800 different varieties of hardy perennials, shrubs, trees, water plants, and hosta. We continue to offer common and heirloom annuals and vegetables, but there are too many offered to count.

In 2007, we installed a twenty by forty-five foot piazza. This piazza, covered by a red cedar pergola, offers customers a place to sit and relax, while viewing the beautiful gardens encompassing the paver patio. This area is also utilized by the many workshops offered and/or sponsored by K & K Gardens, including the Quilt Show Extravaganza scheduled for June 20, 2009.
