Give & Grow with K & K Gardens
Beautifying the World, One Plant at a Time

Do you want a fast and easy way to earn money for your organization?

K & K Gardens has introduced a new fundraising program called Give & Grow.  Our goal is to provide an alternative way to help local clubs, schools, churches, scout groups, 4H clubs and other community organizations earn money.  K & K Gardens will give back 10 percent of every dollar spent by participants associated with your organization.  You can take advantage of the Give & Grow program multiple times through the entire month of May, 2010.

It is very easy!  We design a simple flyer for you to print or email to members of your organization.  Your members send it to anyone and everyone (friends, relatives, teachers, even co-workers).  Then, all they need to do is shop at K & K Gardens.  Upon checking out, present the Give & Grow flyer to our cashier, and you are done!  Our friendly staff will take care of the of rest.

No more hassles forming a committee, keeping tack of fundraising orders, limited selling options, or collecting money.  It is a pain free way to get hundreds, if not thousands of people to contribute to your organization.  All you need to do is promote, promote, promote!

For more information about the Give & Grow program, please contact us.  We look forward to helping you achieve your fund raising goals.

North Fayette Spanish Club

North Fayette Spanish Club

The North Fayette Spanish Club has a long tradition of foreign travel.  Every other summer, North Fayette students have the opportunity to participate in a study-trip to a Spanish speaking country.

On prior trips, the students have visited a wide variety of locations in Mexico and Costa Rica.

The Club is currently beginning the planning process for a trip during the summer of 2011.

During previous travels, participants have climbed pyramids, visited museums and churches, attended song and dance exhibitions, lived with families, bargained in local markets, zip-lined through the jungle canopy, snorkeled with the fish, and many other once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

Thank you for supporting the North Fayette Spanish Club.

Festival of Lights, West Union, Iowa

Festival of Lights, West Union, Iowa

The Festival of Lights is a non-profit organization whose goal is to welcome visitors and  promote community involvement with decorating the West Union Recreational Park in West Union with energy-efficient LED lights and Christmas displays.

Formed in the fall of 2008, the display grew in size more than four times for the 2009 holiday season.  Visitors are welcome to either drive through the park or stroll through the "enchanted forest" to view the hundreds of lights and displays.

In addition to the many hand-made displays, individuals, businesses, and civic organizations adopt trees and decorate them with their own LED lights.  Local children groups met for a Christmas in July craft day at the park and made plastic stars out of recycled plastic beverage holders.

Our goal for the holiday season 2010 is to construct arches to drive under; a gingerbread house; a "polar express" train and a giant toy soldier and drum to be used as a donation box.

There are also many new displays ready for all to enjoy!

The Festival of Lights remain on from the night after Thanksgiving through January 2nd, 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Watch for our grand lighting ceremony!

There is no charge for admission, but donations are accepted.

The West Union Festival of Lights earned $302.27.  Thank you for your participation and support to K & K Gardens!
