Rippled blue leaves are stiff and have deep veins. The tip of the leaf has a distinct twist. Lavender flowers in late summer. Deeply veined leaves are frosty blue, heavily rippled around the edge, and end in a sharp, twisted tip. An excellent grower with good leaf substance. Hosta 'Winter Frost' forms a mound about 17" tall and 36" across that blooms in late summer with fertile lavender flowers.
This large hosta is prized for holding its beautiful blue color long into the season, even when planted in 2/3 day of sun. Its huge leaves emerge slowly, exhibiting a unique cupped, rippled, corrugated texture. They unfold slowly as they mature. Since they are of thick substance, the leaves are more slug resistant.

Wooly Mammoth is a gold-edged sport of Blue Mammoth that is slightly shorter than Blue Mammoth. This hosta has blue-green leaf centers with a wide gold margin. Its leaves have a thick substance which should provide slug-resistance. Makes a giant specimen or background plant. Tall flower scapes bloom nearly white flowers in late June to early July.
New sport of 'Pilgrim' that adds a prominent wave to the leaf. Hosta 'Wrinkle In Time' is a small hosta with dark green leaves in spring have yellow margins. In summer the margins fade to creamy-white. Leaves remind me of a curled tongue. Vigorous grower with contrasting colors and attractive leaf characteristics. Lavender flowers bloom in mid-summer.

'Yellow Polka Dot Bikini' has bright yellow borders that eventually turn apple green. The leaf center is dark green and the typical 'Striptease' white line divides the two. It is a beautiful hosta emerging from the soil. Then the magical spring show begins, bringing out the white area between a dark green center and the yellow margin. Leaves twist and cup a little and then flatten out later. Lavender flowers midsummer.
