Zone 4-7, Height & Spread 20 – 30'.  Interesting amber or copper colored exfoliating bark is shiny and varnished looking.  Dull white flowers with grassy fragrance appear in early summer.  Plant in sun with loose well drained soil.  This is a nice small residential tree.  Its adaptability to difficult sites makes it useful for landscaping.
