    Plant Type: Perennials

This is a very fine cultivated strain of the type species. Producing much more uniform and more compact plants, it bears from July to September many sprays of large and lovely flowers, a strong rose in color shading to the edge of the petals to a somewhat silvery hue. For once, the name does not exaggerate; these are beautiful flowers.
