Plant Type: Hostas
Vivid, best describes this bright gold ‘Pin Stripe’ seedling from Ed Elslager. Something different in a gold.
Rounded and lightly corrugated leaves start out a brilliant light yellow in the spring, and although it greens up some in the summer, it is still a bright greenish yellow throughout the season.
Blooms: Near white flowers bloom in July. This hosta is something different in a yellow. It is almost a parchment color in the spring so it really stands out, but remains a bright spot in the garden even in the summer.
Light: Part shade to full shade. Soil: Rich, moist, well-drained.
