    Clump forming plants produce a showy, summer long display of semi-double flowers in bluish-lavender and yellow centers. Plants bloom from early to mid summer on top of two foot tall stems, the flowering will continual to September.  Removing faded flowers will greatly increase the blooming season.  Attracts butterflies.

    Use them in full sun in moisture retentive soils that are well draining.  Easily divided in the early spring.
