This hosta is twenty-six inches high and fifty inches wide. They leaves are a deep blue-green color and are a good substance. The flowers are near-white and bloom in late summer. ‘Blue Legend’ grows at a slow to medium growth rate.

Large blue hosta from the late Ken Anderson of Minnesota. First offered at an American Hosta Society auction in 2010. This is a big blue hosta that is really blue! Unlike many large blues, the color of Hosta ‘Blue Legend’ is a strong, waxy blue. Not blue-green. A good grower that will form a mound at least 28″ high and 60″ across. It features a lot of pale lavender flowers in early summer.
