Leaves are heart-shaped and about 6 inches in length. Green foliage turns yellow-green in fall sometimes falling before turning. In June, 2" long, tube-like white flowers appear in 4-8" panicles. Fruit is a long persistent pod. Great for xeriscapes, it is very tolerant and adaptable.
