    Firebird Flowering Crab is covered in stunning clusters of fragrant white flowers along the branches in mid spring, which emerge from distinctive rose flower buds before the leaves. It has dark green foliage throughout the season. The pointy leaves turn yellow in fall. The fruits are showy red pomes carried in abundance from early to mid fall, which can be messy if allowed to drop on the lawn or walkways. The rough brown bark and brick red branches add an interesting dimension to the landscape.
