Small, top grafted tree forms a neat, compact head resembling a tight, trimmed ball. Tree can be planting quite close to houses, compared to other trees. Tree maintains its symmetry without pruning. Foliage is dark green. In the spring there is an abundance of white flowers. Golden-amber fruit appears in the fall which attract birds. Disease resistant to scab, cedar-apple rust and mildew. Needs full sunlight.

This is a high maintenance tree that will require regular care and upkeep, and is best pruned in late winter once the threat of extreme cold has passed.
