Ruby Tears Flowering Crab is covered in stunning clusters of fragrant pink flowers along the branches in mid spring, which emerge from distinctive red flower buds before the leaves. It has attractive burgundy foliage which emerges ruby red in spring. The pointy leaves are ornamentally significant and turn an outstanding red in the fall. The fruits are showy red pomes carried in abundance from early fall right through to late winter, which can be messy if allowed to drop on the lawn or walkways.
