Go Back Lamium Chequers

Lamium maculatum 'Chequers'

Plant Type: Perennials

Heart shaped green leaves with a stripe of silver down the middle, and rosy purple flower clusters in spring.  Makes a tough yet showy groundcover.   Will continue to bloom off and on throughout the summer months and into early fall.   Tolerant of drought and shady areas once established.  Evergreen.

Growing & Maintenance Tips:

Trim or mow back in late winter. Stems will root into the ground where they touch, and any new plants that form can easily be moved in spring or fall.  Easy to divide.
