Plant Type: Perennials

This container-friendly, shorter selection is a cross between 'The Rocket' x 'Lanternchen'. It was selected for its relatively compact habit and free-flowering ability. Large, rich green, serrated, heart-shaped leaves form an upright, basally branched mound. Beginning in midsummer, a profusion of bright yellow flower spikes rocket above the foliage, creating quite a spectacle. It is stunning when planted en masse!

Growing & Maintenance Tips:

Ligularias are at their best when grown in cool, moist locations in part shade. Protection from the hot, afternoon sun is essential to prevent wilting. They are a natural for the pond side where there is a constant supply of moisture, though they do require good drainage.
