Plant Type: Hostas

One of Bob Solberg’s first miniature introductions. This hybrid of ‘Lemon Lime’ x ‘Shining Tot’ has shiny, coppery-yellow, heart-shaped leaves. Hosta ‘Shiny Penny’ is an excellent grower that quickly forms a dense clump about 6″ tall and 12″ across that is enhanced by lavender flowers in mid summer. (R. Solberg – 1997)
