Similar to Daphne Spirea. Small leaves on short wiry stems. Pretty pink flowers bloom in summer. Excellent groundcover or dwarf specimen shrub. Dark red fall color. Sun or light shade. Prefers moist well-drained soil. Flowers and leaves all appear on the same side of the arching branches. Flowers are attractive to butterflies. Narrow, dark blue-green foliage.

Easy to grow in average, medium wet, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. It tolerates a wide range of soils. Prune in late winter to early spring. It has no serious insect or disease problems, and is effective in borders, cottage gardens, foundation plantings, or hedges
