Hosta ‘The King’ is an attractive variegation that is a medium-large mound size. A cream margined sport of ‘Sir Richard’. Leaves emerge blue/green with a yellow margin. Margin slowly fades to creamy white during the season. The very attractive leaves are moderately corrugated and of good substance. Blooms lavender flowers in July.
